101 North Glover

The 101 North Glover Street building was built in 1908 and has been a landmark in Twisp (formerly Gloversville) for its entire history. Over the years, it has been a mercantile, a grocery store, an antique store, and a home for the local Methow Valley News. Dozens of artists and business people have called this building their own across the century.

Some interesting tidbits:

  • 101 North Glover is the only building in Twisp to have survived the fire of 1924.
  • The floors are original Douglas fir and have been lovingly refinished.

This building’s historic qualities have been preserved over the years, and now it serves as a memoir to the Methow people’s past, present, and future. Enjoy.
